Welcome to Kent West!
Kent West is within London and South East Region (LaSER) and we have almost 5,000 members in our County from the age of 5 years upwards. If you want to Join Us please click on Join Us on the home page (bottom left) to take you through to the our County map and a link to the official Join Us website. Log on there to register your interest with Leaders in your area.
If you visit our County map you will see that Kent West is divided into eight Divisions covering an area from the Medway towns bordering Kent East to the towns along the Thames such as Gravesend and west to Swanley on the border of Greater London Kent. Then south west taking in the rural villages and towns of Meopham, Sevenoaks and Edenbridge bordering Kent Weald.
Each Division is made of up a number of Districts with Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and Senior Section Units run by volunteer Leaders.
Girlguiding is the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK. We build girls’ confidence and raise their aspirations. We give them the chance to discover their full potential and encourage them to be a powerful force for good. We give them a space to have fun.
