Aimee earns her gold Award

June 2022: Earlier this month Aimee, from 6th Sevenoaks Brownies, attended a Guide meeting and interviewed the leaders.  The following week she gave a presentation to her fellow Brownies and taught them one of their games.  Here she is, ably assisted by one of the Guides, Megan.  This was the final challenge of the Brownie


Jane from 2nd Lordswood Brownies is running the London Marathon!

The Guiding-Runner Hello! My name is Jane Howes & I am a leader from the 2nd Lordswood Brownies & Guides. On 3rd October, I am lucky enough to be running the London Marathon on behalf of Girlguiding UK. As well as the running challenge itself (26.2 miles!), I also have the challenge of raising £2000.


14th Gillingham Brownies Virtual sleepover

Our Brownies and leaders shared a virtual “Animal Boogie” sleepover during the Easter holidays. We started by exploring about animals in danger. (UMA, All Creatures Great and Small). We then made pizzas together and went away to make our virtual campfires and dens. For our next session we were visited by Colwyn Bay Zoo .

Activity Packs

Jane Harvey, Kent West County Commissioner  is delighted to have been able to distribute nearly 1500 individual activity packs to over 100 units in Kent West, funded by the Space to Grow Together Project. They will make a huge difference to those young members, enabling them to engage with Girlguiding activities and join in even
