Starting to meet in person again

As lockdown limits are lifted we can start to meet in person again This has been a tough time for all our members and Girlguiding want to make sure that when we do meet in person again, we do it safely. We are working with the National Youth Agency (NYA) and the wider youth sector


Virtual sleepover

In August, Gillingham East District ran virtual sleepovers for Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers. The girls took part in activities based on the Guiding Light badge, the Cupcake Challenge badge and the Great Camp at Home badge and each attendee received all three badges at the end of the camp. Fun in the outdoors

3rd Milton (St Faiths) Guides had a great day on Saturday 22nd at Cudham Shaws  Outdoor Centre. The Guides were excited to see each other again.  The Guides and leaders were in 2 bubbles, doing the same activities within their bubble. They gained 160 minutes from the Have Adventures Theme. Good mental health matters

Girlguiding Kent Counties have been working with the NHS and the Drummer Creative agency to produce the Good Mental Health Matters resources for all its members in Kent. Mental Health can be a scary subject for many and we are opening the conversation by talking about eating right, sleeping well, using electronic devises with care,
